Shining a spotlight on our incredibly talented community.

What was your creative path - how did you get to where you are?

Good question – in short, faith, friends and family. I’d always been interested in reading, fiction and then in primary school, traditional news journalism, but I grew up surrounded by my Mum’s Marie Claire’s, Glamour’s and Cosmopolitan’s, so by the time I was aged 11, I was buying Teen Vogue and knew I wanted to pursue fashion journalism in some capacity – that, and I was a YouTube kid (massively). I think everything started clicking when I applied for Central Saint Martins (for undergrad) and was WHACKED with all of this creativity that I felt I was incapable of achieving by my own merit but yet was inspired to really push those boundaries, and I knew it would be the place to further my aspirations of being a great writer and journalist, and overall, creative thinker.
